About

howtofixcar.com

A reference library of DIY car repair guides — built symptom by symptom, code by code, vehicle by vehicle — from structured technical data and AI-assisted writing.

The project exists because most DIY repair information online is scattered across forum threads, paywalled service manuals, and half-finished video tutorials. We collect the underlying data — torque specs, part numbers, failure modes, mileage windows — and assemble it into single-page guides indexed by what people actually search for.

We are transparent about the writing process: every guide carries an AI-assisted notice and links to our methodology. Corrections are welcomed and take priority over new content.

This is a small editorial operation. There is no certified repair-shop persona behind the byline — howtofixcar.com Editorial is the publisher of record, and individual repair authority is not claimed.
